Denied boarding? The claim arises immediately
If you were turned away from a flight you held a valid ticket for, EU261 gives you a right to fixed compensation — with no waiting period and no need to have arrived late.
- Covers overbooking and other involuntary refusals
- No three-hour threshold — being refused is enough
- You only pay if we win — a lawyer runs the case against the airline
Takes a few minutes. You sign one authorization, and we take it from there.

- In short
- 01If you were turned away against your will with a valid ticket and on-time check-in, the claim arises immediately.
- 02No three-hour threshold: €250, €400 or €600 per passenger, by flight distance.
- 03If you volunteered, the deal you made with the airline applies, not the fixed compensation.
- 04Being refused for health, safety or missing travel documents gives no claim.
Being refused is not the same as volunteering
When a flight is overbooked, the airline must first ask whether anyone will give up their seat in return for agreed compensation. If you volunteer, the deal you strike is what governs.
If you are turned away against your will, however, you are entitled to the fixed compensation under EU261 — on top of a refund or re-routing to your destination.
Valid ticket, checked in on time
The claim assumes you held a confirmed reservation and presented for check-in within the deadline the airline set.
No three-hour threshold
Unlike a delay, there is no waiting period to clear. The refusal itself is enough to trigger the claim.
Where the airline has good reason
A refusal on grounds of health, safety or inadequate travel documents gives no claim. Overbooking, by contrast, is the airline's own doing.
Others take up to half your compensation. We take 10 %.
Most claim services deduct 30 to 50 % of your compensation before it reaches you. We take 10 %, and only if we win. If we don't, you pay nothing.
of your compensation
- No cure, no pay
- Take up to half your compensation
- A fee on top if the case has to go to court
- The service keeps
- €180–300
- You keep
- €300–420
The standard fee is typically 30 %. If the claim has to be pursued in court, a legal action fee is added on top and the combined share approaches half the compensation.
of your compensation, only if we win
- No cure, no pay: if we don't win, you pay nothing
- A Norwegian lawyer runs your case
- On to the Conciliation Board if needed, still 10 %
- Done in two minutes
- The service keeps
- €60
- You keep
- €540
10 % however far the case has to go, including to the Conciliation Board. If we don't win, it costs you nothing.
How much can you claim?
Compensation under EU261 is fixed by the length of your flight, not the price of your ticket.
Applies to delays of 3 hours or more, cancellations, and denied boarding on flights departing the EU/EEA or arriving in the EU/EEA on an EU/EEA carrier.
